Pokhara, Oct. 3: Two persons including a foreigner died after an Ultralight Aircraft on a sightseeing flight met with an accident at Shanti Stupa hill at Pumdibhumdi VDC this morning.
The deceased have been identified as Captain Steven Shrestha and a passenger, Jun Liu, a Chinese national. According to the District Police Office, Kaski, they died while undergoing treatment at Charak Hospital, Pokhara.
Police suspect that the aircraft crashed at 9:00 am after Captain Shrestha failed to control the aircraft as it was raining in Pokhara since morning and hills were foggy. RSS
