
Kathmandu, Oct. 17: The first day of public office after the Bada Dashain festival saw very few civil servants reporting to duty.
The Ministers were present at the respective Ministries today but the presence of their administrative staff was minimal at the Singha Durbar, the administrative hub of the country.
In compared to other Ministries, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers was found comparatively busier. Though the presence of Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi made it obvious.
Secretary at the Office, Krishna Hari Banskota, who is also the officiating Chief Secretary, was busy taking reports of Dashain of 15 various ministries.
Talking to RSS in brief about the first day in off, Secretary Banskota said the low presence was mainly due to the holiday tomorrow and day after. But their absence has not obstructed the regular administrative work, he added.RSS
